Get ready, Meridian — our favorite creative bash is back with a fresh twist! Adding Spark to the Art, we’re leveling up in 2026 with a new name and a full-day celebration of art, music, food, and fun. This is the festival you’ve been waiting for: art lovers, foodies, live music fans — everyone’s invited. Whether you want to jam to music under the open sky, eat and drink in style, watch chalk masterpieces come alive, or dive into a paint project, we’ve got you covered.

Sparklight Movie Night 


Sparklight Movie Night has become one of Meridian’s favorite ways to enjoy warm summer evenings—bringing families, friends, and neighbors together for a relaxing, memory-making night under the stars. Each movie night draws a crowd that represents the heart of our community: parents with blankets and lawn chairs, kids excited for their favorite characters on the big screen, and local residents ready to enjoy a free, family-friendly event.

Dates: Six Friday Night's throughout summer 
Time: 7:00 pm – Midnight (depending on sunset)

Connections Credit Union Kleiner Park Live 


Meridian’s go-to summer hangout—where great music, good food, and even better company come together under the open sky. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for an evening of live music in one of the city’s most beautiful parks. Whether you’re meeting friends, spending time with family, or just soaking up the atmosphere, Kleiner Park Live is the perfect way to enjoy warm summer nights.

Christmas in Meridian Winter Lights Parade 


This beloved community tradition is filled with sparkle and spirit—featuring dazzling parade floats, free hot cocoa stands to warm your hands and hearts, and pre-parade entertainment to keep the excitement buzzing. Gather your friends and family for watch parties along the route, wave to Santa, and countdown to the moment the Christmas tree lights up downtown.

Children's Winterland Festival 


Get ready for a magical holiday experience at the Children's Winterland Festival, Hosted by Meridian Parks & Recreation, this free, fun-filled event with creative Christmas crafts, exciting games, and leave with a photo with Santa himself!

Homecourt


Meridian Homecourt is a 56,000 square foot premier indoor athletic facility that encompasses 4 full size NBA basketball courts, 14 pickleball courts, 7 volleyball courts and two designated areas for community education classes. Meridian Homecourt has on average more than 29,000 membership check-ins and 49,000 day attendees. Our facility hosts 5 – 7 annual weekend tournaments bringing in 750 – 1000 spectators.
